The White Gates Band are an Essex based band that was formed in the summer of 2022. The band members are Jessica Richardson on vocals, Ryan Heather on bass guitar and keys, Oscar Ball on lead and rhythm Guitar and Tyla Brooks on drums. They provide a high energy show featuring original rock / pop music. Their main influences are Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Paramore. They continue to write original material and at the moment they are in the process of recording their first set of songs for release this year. It’s an exciting time for this up and coming young band as they spread awareness of their music to audiences across London and Essex, whilst continuing to create and develop their unique sound.
The Cart & Horses is a very special location for the band as it was at this venue in May 2023 that they organised their first event. Since then, they have performed at the Cart & Horses several more times, each time presenting a great evening’s music and entertainment.
Four-piece London-Based alternate rock outfit Minimum Wage offers a fresh take on the electric rock scene of the 2000s. Whilst the influence of bands like Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Muse and countless others is firmly stamped on their music, the group are also heavily influenced by jazz, funk, pop and metal. What results from this quirky musical melting pot is a unique brank of rock with boundless energy, anthemic choruses and sensitive melodic grooves, all while remaining ferociously catchy.
